PDS was founded in 1987 by Joseph Martinez. Joe’s background and executive positions with companies like TRW, CSC, United Telecom and others, provided the perfect springboard to launch a premier technology services company to provide IT support to leading companies.
Beginning as a small staffing company with a dozen contractors, PDS grew quickly by orchestrating impressive customer wins, acquiring clients like Lockheed Martin, U.S. West, Northrop Grumman and others. PDS expanded to Denver in support of a U.S. Department of Energy contract and additional engagements prompted further expansion.
Within only a few years, PDS grew from several dozen to several hundred employees supporting multiple projects and contracts across the U.S. Over the past two decades, PDS has expanded beyond contingent staffing to provide outsourcing and consulting services encompassing IT Strategy & Planning, Software & Database, Network & Infrastructure, QA & Testing, and Support & Management IT. By leveraging industry best practices in design, development, QA/testing, implementation, and sustainment across a multitude of tools, technologies, and methodologies, our consultants bring the depth and breadth of expertise to ensure even the most difficult and complex business challenges are solved.
